I was homeschooled and grew up without a TV. Most of that time went on Lego and drawing, and what I drew was nearly always a 747 or the Bloodhound SSC.
I sat the 11+, got 131, and went to Ilford County High School.
At 13 I started buying used bikes online, cleaning them up and selling them again on Facebook Marketplace. At 14 I moved on to retail arbitrage, buying stock from China and reselling it here, and made a few thousand pounds from it fairly quickly.
At 15 I found Lovable and started making websites, which is where the vibecoding started. The same year I won my first Fortnite Solo Victory Cup, which paid $100.
At 16 I kept making websites. I got my first MacBook in August 2025, and that September I started A levels in Politics, Maths and Economics.
In November 2025 I found Claude Code, and suddenly I could build web apps, Mac apps and iPhone apps instead of just websites. Around then I was selling a website to a local law firm and heard them complaining about how they kept track of their paperwork, so I told them I could build something for that too. That turned into selling software to law firms and accountants through Toasted Beans, the studio I had started that summer.
I also started Optic with a few people I met online. It looked at people's social media for hiring teams and flagged the risks. It flopped, and I went back to side projects and client work.
In March 2026 I started interning at HyperGTM. In June I did BAEHQ's startup programme and built and shipped Voluble, a Mac app for learning languages by talking to an AI. Talvin Ramnah, the CEO of Bleep64, offered me an internship after that, so I started there too. In July I spent a week at MAGIC AI and started contracting at Algosoup as a forward deployed engineer.
In August BAEHQ invited me back for their next cohort, and I built Lumi on it. It got 140 users in its first 5 days, and a few angel investors have been in touch since.
In September the Bleep64 internship and the Algosoup contract both finished, and I started Arclight, which I run part-time alongside Lumi.
Most of what I write now is TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind and Node, with Figma when something needs drawing before it gets built. A lot of it is vibecoded, with Claude Code as the main tool rather than autocomplete. This site was built that way.
